On the last leg of our anniversary trip, Mike and I went to Paris for three days. We took a very short plane ride from the Edinburgh airport and arrived in Paris shortly after noon. Our little flat was the tiniest of the three and the building was a little rundown. The location, however was fantastic! We stayed in Montmarte, right down the street from the Sacre Coeur, which we explored right away. We walked by the Moulin Rouge and checked out the shops on Champs Elysees. We spent the next few days exploring Paris; We went up the Eiffel Tower, but couldn't get all the way to the top due to construction. The view was amazing! We checked out the Arc de Triomphe. We checked out the Louvre obviously, but we also went to the Musee D'Orsay, which had the most amazing impressionist art I'd ever seen. It was a revelation! We had an awesome dinner in the museum that night. On the last day we checked out Notre Dame and Jardin du Luxembourg.
